Your life can look “fine” while your nervous system is living in constant alert. I’m walking through why 2024 became an eye-opener for me, starting with grief, continuing through family pressure, and landing on a painful realization: a lot of what I called my personality was actually a collection of triggers I learned to function inside.

We get practical with attachment styles and real with the feelings behind them. I break down anxious attachment, avoidant attachment, and disorganized attachment (fearful avoidant), and I explain how people pleasing and codependency can hide in plain sight when you’re the one everyone depends on. I also talk about the pattern of leaving first, the fear that people only want the benefits of being close to you, and the deep ache of growing up without anyone asking the simplest question: “Are you okay?”

Then we take it where healing actually happens for me: becoming secure in God. Not performative faith, not “I surrendered” while still gripping control, but honest surrender with withholding nothing. If you’re sorting through emotional triggers, Christian healing, relationship patterns, and what secure attachment can look like in real life, this conversation will give you language and next steps. Subscribe, share this with someone who’s carrying too much, and leave a review with the biggest trigger you’re ready to face next.
